Which type of amnesia is this?

"I don't remember who I am or where I am"

Dissociative Amensia

Dissociative Fugue

Dissociative Identity Disorder- not this because need to have many different personalities....

Dissociative amnesia they forget who they are but Im not sure if they forget where they are....Which type of amnesia is this?
I am unsure of the difference between Fugue and Amnesia.

I am familiar with DID.

DID is a very b-r-o-a-d spectrum of dissociation. Multiple Personality is only one extreme end of the spectrum.

To dissociate means loosely "to pull apart from the here and now" This is most often associated with experiencing trauma that feels too unsafe to experience or remember.

Dissociation can also happen when a person is, for example, driving the same route they always drive, but absorbed in thought, drives past their turn, not realizing until later what they have done. The same could be said for putting your check book in the freezer, for reaching for a pot-holder, but opening the silverware drawer instead.

In other words, dissociation is common to everyone in the population.

Dissociative Amnesia means that the person has NO MEMORY of the event. This does happen in DID. It does happen to Multiple Personalities.

"I don't remember who I am or where I am" would be DISSOCIATIVE AMNESIA it can happen to an average person, or It can happen to the alter personalities of a person with DISSOCIATIVE IDENTITY DISORDER
